A single-herb liquid extract of dried flower of Lonicera japonica, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Japanese honeysuckle carries two colours of flower at once, and the reason is simple: every flower opens white and turns yellow over the following day or two, so a plant in full bloom shows both. That is the Chinese name, jin yin hua — gold and silver flower. For the herb the buds are picked before they open, in the early morning, and dried quickly. It is a vigorous evergreen twiner, and where it has escaped in the American southeast it is one of the more serious invasive weeds.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
